2020 Fall Style Haul: Skirts and Pants from SHEIN
New bottoms in the wardrobe for Fall/Winter from Shein.com
Wide-leg pants are my jam, so I had to pick up a couple of pairs for the season. Rich colors like orange or rust and plaid patterns really set the mood. The items I purchase are all somewhat lightweight for the fickle Fall Miami weather, but should easily transition into the Spring. Even though I like to shop for affordable prices, I tend to choose items that are versatile from season to season and get BEYOND my money's worth. Other than knitwear, I like to know everything in my closet can be worn at any given time during the year versus being packed away.
I also picked up two skirts; one wrap version with floral details, but the flowers are against a dark background, which makes it suitable for Fall, yet easily transitional into Spring and Summer. It's a classic I can see myself wearing for years, with boots, heels or sandals; dressed up or down. The second skirt is more professional and fancy in black. I don't have many solid black skirts and thought this would be a nice addition to my wardrobe. It's a bit trendy in design details, so I'm not sure, yet, if this is something I can see myself in for years to come. I don't see myself dressing this down too much, so it's limited to more "dressy" looks. The way it fit during the try-on was satisfactory, but I'll have a better idea of its longevity once I've had a chance to really style it up.
All items, below, are under $25 because that's how I roll. I've gotta REALLY love it and be unable to find it anywhere else to spend more than that. Or it has to have a unique detail that I absolutely fall in love with and don't mind spending a little extra for; a show piece!
Can't wait to style these up, properly. In these photos, I just put on a random blouse that allows you to see all the details of the bottoms. The top is not part of this haul.
Let me know if you see anything you like!
