Fashion Diary #7: Glen Plaid and Ruffles

I love mixing feminine pieces with items that are menswear inspired. It softens a look that could otherwise be overly masculine. Adding this crisp black ruffle top, purchased from Zara (2017) with a pair of wide-leg and cuffed glen plaid trousers is the perfect balance between the two styles. The open-toe faux suede bootie heels also keeps the ensemble on the girly side.
