Fashion Diary #10: Winter Lilac
It's not often that a pastel makes its way into a Winter trend, but lilac is the color for Winter 2019/20. Purple is one of my top 3 fave colors, so it wasn't a shade I need to warm up to.
I picked up this soft and comfy off-the-shoulder boucle-like knit sweater from Forever 21 during the holidays for just $9 (it was 50% off at the time). The style and color really softens these basic black skinny jeans and the edginess of the over-the-knee boots. The jeans give the sweater a casual vibe, but the top is versatile enough to be dressed up with a pair of dress pants for a more polished look.
This is definitely an item I plan to have in my wardrobe for years of cool weather to come; a classic piece at an affordable price!
