2020 Fall Style Haul & Try-on: Cropped Sweater

Cropped sweater...sounds like an oxymoron, right?. Why would you wear something that's cropped if you're trying to stay warm? Well, there are times when the weather, itself, is confused about what it wants to be. It's a little warm, and also a little bit cool. A cropped sweater is a nice way to cover both bases. This particular sweater from SHEIN is not only cropped, but lightweight. Perfect for an outfit outdoors or lounging around the house. I christened this sweater as part of a work-from-home outfit. Comfy for taking it slow at home, but still put together enough to inspire me to be productive. It's supposed to be worn boatneck, but if wearing it as a regular sweater is your speed, the neckline suits that, too. I purchased mine a size up to give myself the option of wearing it off -the-shoulder.

I also picked it up in black because black is a neutral that will easily pair with anything. Also, being so affordable means it doesn't break the bank to stock up on additional colors.

The taupe velvet joggers I'm wearing in these photos have been in my wardrobe for a few years. I'm not 100% sure where I got them, but if you like the entire look, I've linked a similar, affordable pair down below:
