Loungewear/Weekend Fashion Diary #12: 2-Piece Green Tingz

This looks like a drawstring jumpsuit, doesn't it? A lounge-y jumpsuit is what I was looking for, but couldn't find. This 2-piece set from Nasty Gal, however, fills the void. It's in this dark green and black marled print, which works if it's still very Winter where you are, right now, or whether you're in that transitional phase towards milder temps. The top tucks nicely into the high-waisted jogger pants and gives you that one-piece jumpsuit vibe. The bonus is - with a two-piece - going to the restroom is a lot less of a hassle than with a jumpsuit.

As for fabric and quality, it's on the thin and flowy side even though it looks like it should be warmer. And, although it does provide a layer of warmth, it's not your thickest of knits. So, this is for a Miami Winter or , again, for transitional weather between Winter and Spring. Beyond that, it ticks all the boxes of chill out athleisure. The drawstring detail on the jogger bottoms is a feature and not functional, but the waistline is stretchy enough to accommodate a food baby or post-meal bloating. The pattern is perfect for camouflaging those types of issues, if that concerns you. It also has pockets for maximum comfort, although I wouldn't advise putting anything bulky in them. They're great for carrying a key, credit card or small thin items, or simply resting your hands and looking super chic and cool!

I didn't have to make my usual alterations to the neckline because the top comes with that slouchy boatneck/off-shoulder design I love!
