It's Back-to-School and Back-to-Work season for those returning to reality following Summer breaks and vacations. Adding a few pieces to freshen up a wardrobe is the upside to giving up lazy days lounging at the beach or around the house.

Whether you're returning to the office or the classroom, a cute dress is a nice way to get your professional mojo back this season. I found this drape-y take on a shirt dress on Ebay, which - for those of us still experiencing moderate weather - brings in the neutral browns associated with Fall, but still lightweight enough to warm days. What drew me to this dress was its very classic silhouette and clean-girl tone. The faux wrap dress detail sold it for me since wrap dresses are my happy fashion place. Finding dresses that fit my proportions has always been a challenge, but a wrap dress easily solves that problem because it allows me to adjust how cinched in the waist I want to be. And a little bow or tie to the side or front is a fave fashion feature of mine. This dress says simplicity with a twist, which is forever my style language.

You don't hear a lot of people talking about fashion on Ebay anymore now that Amazon has pretty much taken over. However, I've found items by vendor Zanzea_Mode to be a reliable go-to when it comes to affordable fashion of decent quality - oftentimes extremely good quality - online. It's been a little over a year since I started shopping from them and they haven't missed, yet, impressing me over and over again with their items. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this dress a 9.5. The -.5 is because the D-ring belting could be better with a stitch or two to keep the rings stable. But overall, everything about this dress made me feel both lovely and ready for business. I loved it so much, I came home and ordered it in the gray and the black!
