Style Diary: Valentine's Day Shopping

If you're looking for a little something festive for the Valentine's Day holiday, but want to keep it affordable, I've sourced a few things that might be interesting - according to whatever your vibe may be. This year, it feels like the holiday will be extended through the weekend since the actual date falls on a boring Monday. More than likely, folks will begin celebrating Friday night, so I've taken that into account. Check out some of the things that caught my eye for whatever day you're planning to get your V-Day groove on!

Date Night/Night Out on the Town

Here are some dressy options for a girls' night out with your single friends or a sexy date night out with your boo.

Sexy Time/Lingerie

Below are some lingerie items you may want to don under your holiday outfit to make yourself feel sexy, whether just for yourself or for when the date night ends and it's time for the outfit to come off. You can put on a lil show for whoever you'll be sharing the night with. Or, these are items you can slip into after you freshen up from a night out. Turn on a little Marvin Gaye and get your healing on! 😉

Brunch Date

Maybe you have a lunch date during the day with your sweetheart or your friends. These are some items you can style up for a casual, dressy vibe or an elevated daytime look.

Casual Day Out

Not everything for the holiday has to be dressed up. If you'll be in a casual setting, but still want to be festive, you can give a nod to the day with a tee or sweatshirt. Running errands, visiting friends/family, or taking the kids to the park or the dog out for a walk...celebrate the day and send a little love out into the Universe! I even threw in a bikini in case you'll have the benefit of spending the holiday chilling in the pool or on the beach.

Lounging In

For V-Day weekend, it's entirely possible that you, solo - or with your sweetie - will opt to spend a day in, just hanging out and enjoying each other's company and indulging in a Netlix-and-Chill marathon. These Pjs and Lounge sets are perfect for such an occasion, while still showing a little love for the holiday in style.

Work Style

February 14th actually falls on a Monday, what most deem the worst day of the week and not exactly ideal for a day associated with romance. If you have to get to the office, but still want to show off your LOVING spirit, these are some tops that you can pair with a nice pair of work trousers or a professional skirt to celebrate the day. They also work well with a nice pair of jeans for a business casual look.

However your holiday shakes out, as far as activities, there's a little something available for whatever the occasion calls for. Leave me a comment and let me know if you have any favorites shown above and if there's anything you plan on adding to your wardrobe! 💕
